Your privacy on the Global First Ladies Alliance website is important to us. This privacy statement describes Global First Ladies Alliance’s policy concerning the gathering and sharing of visitors’ information through the Global First Ladies Alliance web site. It applies to the Global First Ladies Alliance website located at gfla.org and all associated sites linked to gfla.org by Global First Ladies Alliance (collectively, the “Site”). In general, you can browse the Global First Ladies Alliance site without revealing much personal information about yourself. The only information we may gather during general browsing is from standard server logs. The personal information we collect allows us to keep you posted on Global First Ladies Alliance announcements, updates, and upcoming events. It also helps us to improve our services and content. Global First Ladies Alliance does not control use by third parties.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 13 we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

California Privacy Rights

Global First Ladies Alliance does not share your personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their own independent marketing purposes without your consent. California residents may request the categories of personal information which Global First Ladies Alliance shared with its affiliates during the previous calendar year. To make such request, send an email to info@gfla.org. Written requests may be sent to First Ladies Initiative, 2355 Westwood Blvd., Suite 1121, Los Angeles, CA 90064. Global First Ladies Alliance will respond to these requests within 30 days. Requests that come to Global First Ladies Alliance by other means may result in a delayed response.

International Users

Information you provide may be transferred or accessed by entities around the world as described in this Privacy Policy. Global First Ladies Alliance abides by the “safe harbor” frameworks set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information collected by organizations in the European Economic Area and Switzerland.
